Q1: In the extremely cold weather of minus 40℃, will it break brittlely at a touch?

A:Our snow poles adopt a low-temperature toughened resin system and high-elasticity glass fiber, and still maintain good toughness in an environment of -40℃. Tested at -40℃ in accordance with the ASTM D790 standard, the flexural strain is ≥6%, and no brittle fracture will occur. Ordinary PVC poles become brittle at -20℃, while glass fiber poles can still maintain excellent flexibility under extremely cold conditions.

Q2: Snowplows collide frequently, can the poles return to an upright position?

A:Yes. Fiberglass has an excellent elastic memory effect — it can quickly spring back to its original upright state after being bent under pressure. Our snow poles can withstand repeated bending of 90 degrees more than 5,000 times without breaking, and remain straight after the snow removal season ends.

Q3: Can drivers see clearly at night and during blizzard days?

A:Our snow poles are standard-equipped with high-brightness bidirectional reflective strips (3M engineering-grade reflective film), with a visible distance of over 200 meters under the illumination of vehicle headlights at night. The orange-red pole body itself is also extremely eye-catching against a snowy background. At the same time, LED luminous top caps can be installed according to your requirements to realize active luminous warning.

Q4: If buried in frozen soil for installation, will it be pulled up or damaged by frost heave force?

A:The product surface is designed with anti-pullout patterns or base flanges to enhance the anchoring force in frozen soil. The rod body itself has low water absorption (≤0.2%), and will not crack due to the freezing of internal moisture under freeze-thaw cycles. With dedicated ground anchors or embedded casings, it can be safly used in permafrost regions for more than 10 years.

Snow poles have extremely high requirements for low-temperature toughness and UV aging resistance, and it is recommended to select an unsaturated polyester resin system with added low-temperature toughening agents and UV stabilizers.
